The next morning, Captain Baker introduces him to the rest of the crew before breakfast. Zhenya leaves to get a handle on the mess in the Medical Bay, and Keone approaches him to ask if he can monitor hormone therapy for her and tells him Captain Baker wants to see him ASAP. As she leaves, Jans enters, and confronts Zhenya about some of his more suspicious behavior. Zhenya tries to defend himself, and ends up leaving in a huff about the incident. As he and Captain Baker discuss something he isn’t telling the crew yet, a woman shows up and curses the crew over something she claims Captain Baker stole from her. Keone leaves to prep to run diagnostics on the engine, but can’t focus on anything. Several alarms go off, interrupting her frustration, and she can’t seem to find the problem.
